Many of the poorer older people in our area live alone, often widowed and with children who have moved far away from their home villages to build new lives. No longer able to work, these vulnerable elderly men and women often struggle to pay for everyday necessities such as food, rent and essential medical costs. RTU's food and pension payments enable them to eat well and keep a roof over their heads. We also provide them with free medical treatment when they need it. Read more
