Last year together with St Joseph's and other kind donations we raised enough to 'Build a House for Lent'. This year I have decided to walk three miles a day during lent to raise money to drill a well. Three to ten miles a day is the average distance women and children in India walk to get clean water for their families.

Although my walk will be nowhere near as gruelling and I won't be carrying litres of water on my head, but I do hope that it will raise awareness and support women in India. The cost of drilling a well is £2000.  I don't expect to raise the amount this Lent so I will be 'Walking for Water' every Lent until I do.
